PEA moves further towards a “Smart Grid” with their newly announced Smart Grid Roadmap project.

Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) announces a bold step into the future with Smart Grid Roadmap project, which will apply advanced technologies to optimize the operation of the power system to serve people throughout Thailand. The Smart Grid will integrate the delivery of renewable energy, such as solar and wind power, for the benefit of consumers in Thailand, in keeping with Thailand’s commitment to protection of the environment. It will also lay the groundwork for supporting plug - in hybrid vehicles throughout the country.
